How far in advance do I need to order?
Every dessert at Cake by the Pound is baked to order. Please give us at least 48 hours' notice so we have time to bake, cool, and plate each item fresh. Large custom orders may need longer — Brittney will confirm timing when you book.
Where do you deliver?
Across the UAE — Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah. Pricing is calculated at checkout based on distance. Pickup in Abu Dhabi is always free.
Are your desserts halal?
Yes — all ingredients are halal-certified. We do not bake with alcohol unless specifically requested for a private, adults-only custom order.
Can I customize a cake?
Of course. Birthday cakes, baby showers, weddings, corporate orders — Brittney handles it all. Send a brief and any inspiration photos via the Contact page or DM @cake.x.the.pound.
How should I store my dessert?
Refrigerate within two hours. Pound cakes and cookies last up to 5 days chilled; pies, cobblers, and pudding are best within 3. Bring cake slices to room temperature before serving for the best flavor and texture.
What payment methods are accepted?
Online checkout (card / Apple Pay / Google Pay) once live payments are activated, plus bank transfer and cash on collection. We'll always confirm an option that works for you.
Do you offer allergen-friendly options?
Many recipes can be adjusted — nut-free, dairy-light, etc. Mention it in your order notes or the contact form, and Brittney will let you know what's possible.
